Best chew toys for dogs in my opinion are made from Orbee-Tuff® material. Planet Dog in Portland, ME makes these toys. There are many products available from this material but I will present you two of them. Both are fully recyclable, durable and pass 5 out of 5 on Planet Dog's official Chew-O-Meter. The price for both is $11.95.

First there is The Recycle Bone. It is 6.5" long and made from rubbery scraps left over from the manufacture of other chew toys. The bone is super strong and fun to gnaw. Besides that, it supports education and training of your dog. This Orbee Tuff Recycle Bones are available in multiple colors.

The second is Glow for Good Ball. It is 3.25" in diameter and perfect for playing with your dog at night. The dogs love it. With the purchase of this product you are contributing to the Planet Dog Foundation that is helping all service dogs such as therapy dogs, service dogs, search and rescue dogs, bomb sniffing and police dogs.

Firehose bumpers for dogs

Firehose bumpers are perfect playing toys for your dog. These toys are crated from ultra-tough recycled fire hose pre-consumer recycled material its pouch stores an empty plastic water bottle.

Eco Toys - Zogoflex

Zogoflex is a new high-tech material that is used to make many non toxic, recyclable and durable eco dog toys. Zogoflex is West Paw Design's exclusive material that's made in the USA. It is super durable, extremely pliable material that's tough, buoyant, non-toxic, and long-lasting. This high-tech material is used to make a lot of dog toys.



Toys are dog friendly, because they won't hurt their teeth. Recommended are for aggressive chewers, pullers, and fetchers. Zogoflex products are eco friendly by being recyclable and containing up to 10% post-industrial waste.

This super material is dishwasher safe and does not contain, nor does any of its components contain any toxic substances.

Igloo for Dogs - Dogloo

Every dog that spends time outdoors needs shelter from the elements. And finally there is a Dog House that is more than just a "dog house". No Eskimo igloo was ever built better.



Dogloo keeps pets cooler in summer and warmer in winter because it is constructed from three layers of structural foam and nitrogen insulated plastic. The structural foam insulation is good for energy efficiency. It is moulded from tough hard plastic which dogs will not chew, will require no treatment and will not rot. Igloo-styled house is a flea-free environment because non-porous material prevents fleas from nesting. Dogloo also has an extended entrance with a rain diverting door rim. But this version of Dogloo had some bad reviews at petco.com. Many buyers complain that the new snap together does not seal like the old style dogloo, which makes it less insulated and not totally water and wind proof. They advise you to go with the original version.

• Heated Pad and Cover. Pad has a half-round shape that covers a portion of the floor to allow your pet to choose when they want to lay on the pad. It is constructed of waterproof plastic and has an internal thermostat to keep the temperature of the pad at 102 degrees when used by your dog. The pad is easy to clean.
• Doors, which are made from flexible plastic. They simply fixes above and swings freely to allow your dog easy access whilst providing your dog with a warm safe and secure home
